Lee Lawrence

Lee was twelve when friends invited him to join the new rugby training group in the Oliver Bond flats. He remembers his first few sessions with the Liberty Saints being tough—most of the other players were much older and bigger. For the first time, he learned how to properly play rugby and discovered that his skills were best suited for prop. He's been playing prop ever since, going on to play for the senior club in Terenure. He attributes his successes to the dedication and expertise of the Liberty Saints coaching staff.

The thing I love most about the game of rugby is putting your body on the line for your teammates. Nothing is more satisfying then overcoming the challenges of the game, as this gives you a great sense of pride and a major confidence boost.
